Ol\' Army Lou \'32 Student Assistance Program

This program provides scholarships and financial aid awards for housing, tuition, books, and emergency situations. The recipient of any award provided by this program shall be an entering (freshman or tranfer) student or a student in good standing pursuing a degree at Texas A&M University. All scholarship recipients will be evaluated and ranked by the Dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences or his/her designee (Director of Student Development). The final ranking will be submitted to a committee of three, who are familiar with the Ol\' Army Lou Legend, for recommendation of a preference.

The award criteria will be based on financial need, entrepreneurial spirit, work ethic and leadership abilities. Scholarships may be awarded to students who may not qualify for other scholarships awarded at the university or college level. Award recipients must maintain at least a \"C\" average and continue to make satisfactory progress toward a degree.

Donations

In keeping with the founder\'s tradition of sharing, Loupot\'s Bookstores makes donations to student and community organizations involved in philanthropic works. The business also assists Texas A&M and Aggie Moms clubs with scholarship fundraisers.
